i-Net+™ certification is focuses on the basics of Internet, Extranet, and Intranet technologies at the entry level.
Although it is not required, it is to your advantage to have a basic knowledge of PC operation, hardware, and networking concepts before you begin.
In order to obtain your i-Net+™ certification you must pass one exam covering networking basics, server and client functions, and Internet protocols. The exam contains about 25% Networking material.

Internet e-Commerce Specialist, Entry Level
The e-Commerce Specialist assists with technologies, standards, and practices for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer e-commerce models. He or she will have a general marketing, customer service, promotion, purchasing methods, user interaction, and secure transactions using payment gateways, shipping, inventory control, and order information. He or she will also perform site performance testing and evaluation. The specialist will primarily work in teams with higher-level specialists.
Internet Network Specialist, Entry Level
The Internet Network Specialist assists in identifying infrastructure components, defining network architecture, and monitoring network performance. He or she will help with the management and design of enterprise TCP/IP networks and will work under direct supervision & report to a manager.
Internet Security Specialist, Entry Level
The Internet Security Specialist will help in securing networks from hackers and unauthorized activity. He or she will have a basic understanding of the hacker mind-set and understand how to enforce appropriate security measures for the protection of networks from hacker activity.
