Kevin began his career in the computer industry in 1983. He has worked as a technical writer, trainer, and network administrator. He worked at Novell for years, and he is recognized as a Master CNE and CNI. During the late 90's, he founded Tech Training, providing him with the opportunity to experiment with his training philosophies. Kevin is certified as a Microsoft Trainer (MCT) and MCSE, and he has completed certification in SQL and SMS Server, NT Workstation, TCP/IP, Exchange Server, NT Server, and numerous Windows platforms. Kevin has written books about Microsoft certification for Sybex and New Riders. Additionally, he setup and manages a consulting company to teach complicated concepts in easy to understand ways. In addition to these achievements, Kevin participated in the beta testing and development in the early phases of Windows .NET Server.

Kenneth Mayer
Ken is certified as a security consultant, and Linux, Cisco, and Microsoft Trainer. He began his computer technology career during the 80's and since then has consulted with Fortune 500 companies worldwide about various IT training issues. Ken specializes in Enterprise Network Architecture, Linux and Novell platforms, Microsoft Network Operating Systems, and Juniper and Cisco products. He is certified as a MS Networking Trainer and Consultant, CISSP, CCNP, CCDA, CCNA, and Cisco Instructor (CCSI), Juniper JNCIA/S, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIS, JNCIA, and Instructor, in addition to being certified as a Computer Examiner (Digital Forensics), Ethical Hacker with the EC Council, and Certified Pen Testing Specialist.

 

 

Warren Peterson

Warren Peterson
Warren is the Co-Founder and President of the Security Certified Program (SCP). He is also the main author of instructional materials, and he has authored 9 premier books on IT security, which includes the SCP courses. During the late 90's, Warren decided to develop a program to educate people about IT security issues, which led to the creation of the SCP. He supervised the growth of this company from its humble roots in a Chicago classroom to a program that is now offered worldwide.

Shon Harris
is an author, former Air Force engineer, security specialist, President of Logical Security, and teacher. Shon has authored two premier CISSP books and co-wrote Gray Hat Hacking and Hacker's Challenge. She created a book series about security, published by McGraw-Hill and sold to companies, colleges, and universities worldwide. This series established new standards in security education, training, and protocols. Shon frequently contributes to Windows 2000 and Information Security Magazine, and she has consulted with many clients, such as the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), National Security Agency (NSA), Departments of Energy and Defense, Bank of America, and BMC about information and computer security. Information Security Magazine recently recognized Shon as one of 25 women heavily influencing the modern information security industry.

 

 

David R. Miller

David R. Miller

has worked as a technical writer, author, trainer, network engineer, and curriculum designer. David worked as a technical trainer during the 1980's teaching courses about PC centered medical therapy technology. He become CNE certified during the 90's and founded a user training and network installation company known as the MicroLink Corporation. After becoming Microsoft certified, he taught at Southern Methodist University as a MCSE track instructor. He became Director of Training at a MCSE boot camp training company in 1999 and held that position until 2002. David has been collaborating with Shon Harris, world renowned CISSP author, recently as the Director of Training for Logical Security, LLC. In this position, he has supervised numerous curriculum development groups. Additionally, he serves as the corporate IT Director and oversees design and creation of lab and student manuals.
