Computer Operator, Intermediate Level
The Intermediate-level computer operator operates and monitors computer equipment. He or she will perform the needed tasks to properly maintain computers and their peripheral equipment, load peripherals for operating, monitor peripheral equipment and error messages to detect and prevent machine stoppage or faulty output. The operator will work under direct supervision and will report to a manager.
Customer Service Technician, Entry Level
The Customer Service Technician is responsible for on-site or in-house customer satisfaction. He or she will assist with computer projects involving service, repair and installation and suggests the use of certain products and services. Basic understanding of identification, prioritization and resolution of computer issues is essential. He or she will also assist with problem resolution and change management processes. He or she will work under general supervision and report to a manager.
Hardware Installation Coordinator, Entry Level
The entry-level hardware installation tech will focus on the implementation of network connectivity and hardware systems at client locations. He or she will assist with problem diagnosis and resolution and will work under limited supervision of a senior technician or manager.
Help Desk Technician, Entry Level
The entry-level help desk technician meets the needs of both in-house and external clients within a call-center or out-call environment. The tech will assist the client in a broad range of applications and services. He or she will provide problem resolution following pre-defined procedures and guidelines utilizing problem management databases or a help-desk system. The tech will work under direct supervision and report to a manager.
Network Support Technician, Entry Level
Entry-level Network Support techs maintain and monitor network systems and network hardware. He or she will Diagnose and document problems and implement their solutions. He or she will also measure the performance of the network and perform system back-ups. The entry-level tech will work under direct supervision of a higher level technician and usually reports to a manager.
