COURSE OVERVIEW

This video-centered training program teaches students how to develop PL/SQL applications and resolve common business problems. Students will be introduced to stored procedures and functions and learn how to utilize basic Oracle supplied packages and PL/SQL exception handling procedures. Additionally, students will learn about the Oracle PL/SQL language.

Oracle's Procedural Language addition to SQL is known as PL/SQL. Its language structure, data types, and syntax share similarities with ADA. The PL/SQL language features object oriented programming strategies, including information hiding (excluding inheritance), function overloading, and encapsulation. PL/SQL is often utilized to write data-based programs to alter data within Oracle databases.
