SCSA certification is designed for system administrators who are responsible for performing essential system administration on the SolarisT Operating Environment (Solaris OE) as well as technical app support staff who are responsible for administering networked servers running the Solaris OE. This performance based program is designed around job-related tasks that professionals will perform.

The SCSA exam is administered in two levels, intermediate and advanced. The intermediate exam must be passed before taking the advanced exam.
